“The liver is smart. It knows when to detoxify, when to usher the toxins out of the body through urine or stool, when to store the nutrients and when to release them back into the blood. It also keeps the amount of sugar in the bloodstream constant.”

What do a person who often dines out, a person who goes to bed late almost every day, and a person who lives in industrial areas have in common? All of them are at risk of serious liver problems. Some due to exposure to certain types of toxins, others due to unhealthy habits that disrupt their natural antioxidant system, led by the liver.

During metabolic processes, the liver acts as the natural detoxifier of our body, helping filter and control certain substances such as medications, food additives, preservatives, food colorings, sweeteners, flavor enhancers, chemicals used in agriculture, alcohols, volatile organic compounds, fumes, air pollution, and many other factors.

Glutathione, a strong antioxidant, the master one, is the liver’s biggest helper in eliminating harmful elements and neutralizing free radicals, sustaining the healthy activity of other antioxidants. Its deficiency is usually characterized by a reduction in the body’s ability to repair DNA, inability to detoxify , reduced oxygen and nutrient supply to cells,  increased cell mutations, and oxidative stress.

The intimate correlation between organs and antioxidants has been the subject of study over the years. These investigations have given signs that indicate that it is much more important than we imagined, and Glutathione is the key to finding some answers to treat hepatic conditions..

About 25% of the population of the United States, is suffering Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease, the most common form of chronic liver condition in the world.

Is not clear exactly  why some people accumulate fat in the liver while others do not, but it’s linked to the following: high levels of triglycerides in blood, insulin resistance, obesity, pre diabetes or type 2 diabetes.

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a common condition characterized by the accumulation of fat in the liver of individuals who consume little or no alcohol. This condition can range from simple fatty liver (steatosis) to nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), which is characterized by inflammation and liver damage.

Studies have suggested that decreased levels of glutathione in the liver may be a contributing factor in the development and progression of NAFLD. Another study published in the journal Redox Biology found that the expression of genes involved in glutathione metabolism was altered in the livers of patients with this condition compared to healthy controls.

Oxidative stress, which is characterized by an imbalance between pro-oxidant and antioxidant species in the liver, is believed to play a critical role in the development of this pathogenesis as well.

Animal studies have shown that glutathione supplementation can prevent the development of NAFLD and improve liver function in mice fed a high-fat diet. These previous results led to further research in humans.

WHAT GLUTATHIONE CAN DO FOR YOUR LIVER.

NON-ALCOHOLIC FATTY LIVER DISEASE AND GLUTATHIONE

All you may have heard of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease – it’s a serious problem in the liver. But fear not, because glutathione is here to help reduce the risks.
Studies have shown that oral administration of glutathione can improves the conditions of patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Not only does it help improve ALT levels (which is what doctors check to see if your liver is healthy), but it can also help with other medical conditions such as viral hepatitis, diabetes, congestive heart failure, and much more!
Glutathione is the best ally for the liver. It lowers triglyceride, NEFA, and ferritin concentrations – all those nasty things that can cause liver damage. So if you’re looking for a way to support your liver and get it back in tip-top shape, look no further than glutathione!

THE SCIENCE BEHIND GLUTATHIONE.

In a pilot trial conducted by scientists from Yokohama City University and Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine, 34 patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease stepped up to the challenge.
The program started with a 3-month journey to improve their lifestyle habits through exercise and diet. But that was only the beginning. They then embarked on a 4-month treatment with glutathione, taking 300mg of it every day.
The scientists evaluated their progress using ultrasonography and vibration-controlled transient elastography to check their liver fat and fibrosis.
The primary result of this process was the change in alanine aminotransferase (ALT) levels. These patients had their venous blood samples taken after fasting overnight for 12 hours, so that the scientists could measure their values before and after the glutathione treatment.
The results of this study suggest the beneficial effects of glutathione through oral administration for NAFLD patients:

ORAL ADMINISTRATION OF GLUTATHIONE

It is believed that glutathione is degraded into   amino acids during the processes of digestion and absorption. Orally administered glutathione is suggested to serve as a source of amino acids in the synthesis of endogenous glutathione.
To elucidate the mechanism behind the beneficial effects of glutathione, large-scale clinical trials that examine the incorporation of orally administered glutathione into the liver and its effects on the host redox system are required.
GlutaDose® Wellness – the liquid glutathione formula.
Oral administration, daily doses and a high absorption rate are key factors for researchers in measuring the benefits of glutathione on the liver. These are three conditions that you will find in our formula, which can help support and enhance the effects of your treatment, promoting the recovery of your liver health.

Why is liquid Glutathione the best option?

Scientific studies show that liquid Glutathione is the most effective presentation, due to its high level of absorption.
Although there are hundreds of supplements on the market whose main component is Glutathione, the supply of liquid formulas is almost non-existent.
Why is this? The answer is: technology and safety.
The production of liquid formulas requires manufacturing capabilities that GlutaDose® possesses, such as Blow Fill Seal technology, which guarantees the safety and CGMP levels required by the FDA, allowing us to have a great presentation of the most powerful antioxidant in its most efficient version.
